The Qassim Region Municipality continued its field cleaning work during the days of Eid al-Adha through an integrated system of human cadres and specialized mechanisms with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of cleaning work, raising the level of services provided to residents and visitors, and maintaining a healthy and safe environment that reflects the community's awareness and cooperation with the efforts of service agencies.
The official spokesman for the Qassim Region Municipality, Mr. Nayef bin Abdul Rabbah Al-Nafie, stated that the participating human cadres amounted to 2,145 individuals, including employees, supervisory cadres, workers, and drivers, in addition to 275 pieces of equipment and cleaning vehicles, in the city of Buraidah, where they worked according to flexible operational plans that cover all locations with high population density and traffic during the Eid days.
Al-Nafie stated that the municipality received 4,971 tons of waste during Eid Al-Adha via 669 vehicles through a continuous work system aimed at improving the efficiency of public cleanliness, stressing the importance of residents adhering to waste removal times and tying the bags tightly to ensure work efficiency and preserve the urban landscape.
Al-Nafie emphasized that these efforts come within the framework of the municipality's commitment to enhancing the quality of life and raising the level of municipal services to meet citizens' aspirations and contribute to building a sustainable environment based on community awareness and interaction with the awareness messages and purposeful initiatives launched by the municipality during seasons and occasions.
