Qassim Region Municipality has harnessed its capabilities to deal with the effects of the rainy conditions that the region experienced yesterday, Monday, January 6, 2025 AD, where 292 human cadres and 75 specialized equipment participated, to deal with the damage caused by the rain. The official spokesman for Qassim Region Municipality, Mr. Nayef bin Abdul Rabbah Al-Nafie, explained that the municipality has intensified its efforts to open the affected roads, clear the culverts, and remove water pools in low-lying areas. Work has also been done to clean the manholes and ensure effective drainage of water to reduce the negative effects on traffic and infrastructure. Al-Nafie indicated that the municipality is working continuously in cooperation with the relevant authorities, with full readiness to confront any other developments that may result from the weather conditions, and stressed that the municipality continues its efforts to preserve the safety of citizens and residents and ensure the continuity of services throughout the region.
