The Municipality of Uqlat Al-Suqur Governorate, affiliated to the Qassim Region Municipality, concluded the activities of the second edition of “Qatan Winter”, which lasted for four days in the parks of the Qatn Mountains, yesterday, Saturday, January 11, 2025 AD. The festival witnessed the attendance of 12 thousand visitors since its launch, and included a distinguished group of activities, with the participation of 22 productive families and the participation of 20 people from motorhome and caravan enthusiasts, in addition to 20 modified and classic cars. The festival also hosted heritage shows that included Al-Ardha and Al-Samri, in addition to the “Falconers Council”, which reviewed different types of falcons, ways to deal with them and their requirements. These efforts come within the framework of the municipality’s keenness to diversify activities and festivals in a way that contributes to improving the quality of life and enhances the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
