During 2024 and the first quarter of 2025, Al Rass Municipality, affiliated with the Qassim Region Municipality, carried out comprehensive asphalt and maintenance works on the road network with a total area exceeding 1,170,000 m². This is part of the efforts to improve infrastructure, raise the efficiency and quality of roads, and enhance traffic safety. The area of new asphalt works on the main roads reached 232,600 m², while maintenance works covered more than 938,000 m², distributed between residential neighborhoods and main and central roads. Maintenance works also included treating subsidence and cracks, re-asphalting, and repairing damaged layers, according to site priorities and traffic needs. This is part of the municipality's efforts to improve the level of services provided to residents, develop roads, and make them more fluid and flexible, through its field teams, to improve the urban landscape and enhance the quality of life in the governorate.
