Overview

​​In light of what the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques  is doing- represented by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing- in developing the cities of the Kingdom and setting future plans for their development and improving the standard of living of its residents, The Ministry, through Al-Qassim province municipality, prepared the local and detailed plan for Buraidah city, which was approved by His Royal Highness Prince Mansour bin Mutaib, the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, on the twenty-third of Shaban, 1434 AH.

The adoption of the local and detailed plan of the city is an important step in which Al-Qassim province municipality participated in completing and began to activate that ambitious work on the ground. the plan included a set of controls and requirements that determine the uses and heights  in

a way that preserves the city’s constructional  features and patterns to perform the functional role assigned to it, in line with its population, social and constructional  development. In view of the given importance by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing and Al-Qassim province Municipality to the targeted citizens in development, and the fact that the success of the plan depends mainly on the participation of all departments and groups of civil society and citizens in its implementation.
